Are these word games free?
5 of 7 word games have verified free modes: Wordle, Connections, Strands, Clueffy Daily Word Game and Layers. Free play for ClueDay and Dartwords hasn't been verified yet, so check the provider's terms in the game before paying or signing up.
Are these the New York Times puzzles?
No. Our Wordle, Connections and Strands are independent editions with their own answer lists, categories and boards. Embedded word games are run by their providers.
What's the difference between Wordle and Clueffy Daily Word Game?
Wordle here is a 5-letter word in 6 guesses with letter feedback only. Clueffy Daily Word Game uses a 6-letter word and adds a new clue after each wrong answer.
